About the organisation

Refugees Welcome is a small, humanitarian organisation which started in 2007. We are partly volunteer-based. Our income comes solely from members of the public, and we are completely independent of state funding. Our work is founded on the UN Refugee Convention and human rights. 

We work in three areas, which all complement one another: 

• We offer free legal advice to refugees and asylum seekers. 
  
  
• We provide information and knowledge to and about refugees in Denmark. 
  
  
• We advocate for refugee rights.
